I feel like this deserves more votes. If the scanning option for the kit is to scan the individual items the Kit barcode will never be used. We could assign a SKU barcode by default when the kit is created an it could be modified or removed.

We have implemented an option to capture an image from a mobile device or web cam after scanning is complete. This can be optionally emailed to the customer or just saved with the order for reference. If users feel video would bring sufficient value that the storage would be warranted we may add a video option in the future. If you're following and would like early access please reach out to support@groovepacker.com

That's overkill, at least for our business. It would be nice to store them in a videos folder in case any questions arise or for internal training purposes. But honestly that would be a lot of video building up over time. It would probably be wise to put an expiration date on the videos - say 90 days.

That could be done. I’m curious why you must wait before importing the rest of the batches. Everyone’s process is different but we usually the orders are cued by scanning the order number so it’s generally not a problem to have all of the days orders in the awaiting list and only those that packers have packing slips for will be scanned. I remember you print barcodes “on demand” so I think this may be why, am I right?

Also, this feature would be helpful in letting me know when the packers are almost done, so I can go down there and give them other assignments for when the order packing is over. Otherwise, if I get caught up with something else, they may be waiting around to be given instructions as to what to do next. This way, I have a heads up that they're almost done and I can go tell them. Cuts down on slack time.

problem with that method is that we're creating new kits constantly on eBay/Amazon. It's easier to just create the kits when they sell and import.
