in order to use the inventory features of groovepacker, nested kits will be an absolute must for us. So basically say a widget has 10 packs per case. Each pack is a stock keeping unit, so we set the case up as a kit of 10 packs which always scans as one unit (the case barcode). But then we have issues because sometimes we sell 2 cases taped together as a lot so we'd need to create another kit which scans as 2 cases and removes 20 packs from inventory. However, once a kit is created (the case kit) it currently cannot be used as a component in another kit (the double case kit).

Additionally, sometimes we have combo case lots (i.e. a case from widget A and a case from widget B) as a kit, so we'd need to add a case of each to the kit and scan as individual parts (The case barcodes). Since we can't add cases to kits once they're set up to track inventory this is also not currently possible.

We can't use the inventory features unless and until this is implemented, as it wouldn't keep the pack counts accurate.
