Auto Export CSV Scanned Orders with Tracking via FTP Server
It would be great to have all Scanned orders of the day automatically export onto our server via FTP.
We would like to be able to choose what data would export.
I know we can export the data now, but it has to be done manually and we do not have the option to change what data is being exported.

Add option for bulk/batch packing and scanning
You could assign multiple orders to a batch and have a packer scan to start and scan to stop. This would assign each order to the packer and track time.

Having multiple warehouse options in a single account
A better way to organize different clients.
6 votesI am gathering feedback on this use case.
In this scenario would all users be "common" or "shared" across all warehouses?
Would each user tend to have the same permissions across warehouses?
Would alternate reporting be required, if so, which reports would be most helpful?

Move error messages to bottom of screen & allow for swiping on touch screens
Move the error messages to populate at the bottom of the screen, and allow for swiping on touch screens to remove them.
The error messages are large, and sometimes multiple are produced with a single action, blocking the top half of the screen. I suggest moving the error messages to the bottom of the screen to avoid covering most user actions, and allowing users with touch screens to swipe the error messages away instead of touching "x".

Allow users to customize their feedback sounds
The existing sounds have the potential to be helpful, but also annoying to packers, especially the fail sound. Please allow users to customize their feedback sounds with profile settings of some sort. The ability to upload short mp3's or other formats would be ideal.

Option to import Shipping Carrier and Service and display during packing.
If the order is Shipped prior to packing in GroovePacker it should be possible to display the Carrier and Service associated with the shipment during packing.
If the carrier and service can be preset with a rule prior to shipping then it may be possible to import them as well for un-shipped order.
Would this benefit your workflow?

Product Cost field to keep track of total inventory costs
We would like to use GroovePacker mainly to keep our inventory quantities correct, but would be really helpful if we can also import all the costs of our products so what when we export we can easily see the total cost of inventory at any given time. If this number can be seen in a tab somewhere without needing to be exported it'll be even better. But being able to input product costs will already be great this way we don't need to run an excel macro to do this manually

UK Date Format
It seems like a small request but I'd like to see UK date formats to bring Groove Packer in line with other systems we use.

FTP upload for Amazon FBA Shipment Plan (.tsv) Files
It would be great to have the feature to upload Amazon FBA shipment plans (.tsv) through FTP uploads, and then groove-packer can import them automatically. It would be great to have this feature available, and since we are paying $200(4 users) or more per month just to have the "FBA Shipment Plan module"...
Right now, we have to click through the following steps for each Amazon Shipments Plans to upload the .tsv files. (setting -> fba store - > order import , FBA Shipment plan (requires FBA modules).1 vote -

Email Periodic Updates on Groove Packer Changes
I noticed some changes to GP that improve our experience. I wasn't aware of them until I stumbled on them looking up other issues.
An emailed periodic update (quarterly??) listing new changes that benefit user experience would be very helpful.
Thank you!11 votesWe are looking at adding an in app notification and an optional opt-in email that would be updated when new features drop.

In the Products section, allow for several fields to be user customized
The Orders sections has 2 fields open to be customized by the user. It'd be handy to also have this feature in the Products section, rather than us using an open field that's not relevant to the content.
1 voteWe will continue to monitor this to gauge interest.

automatically generate barcode from SKU for new kits
For almost all of our kits, we use the "generate barcode from SKU" function after we've created the kit. It would be faster if we could eliminate that step and if there was a setting to automatically generate barcode from SKU after we create a new kit and add the items to it.
1 voteI feel like this deserves more votes. If the scanning option for the kit is to scan the individual items the Kit barcode will never be used. We could assign a SKU barcode by default when the kit is created an it could be modified or removed.

alert me when # of orders awaiting shipment reaches a certain number
Right now, while my employees are packing orders, I have to check in from time to time to see how many are left (so that I know when to start the next batch or when they're almost done). A helpful feature would be the ability to set an alert to email me when the number of orders in the awaiting queue goes below a certain number (user defined would make sense, I guess, since every company is different).
This would probably have to be something we set when the batch is imported so that the alerts don't get triggered during…
1 voteThat could be done. I’m curious why you must wait before importing the rest of the batches. Everyone’s process is different but we usually the orders are cued by scanning the order number so it’s generally not a problem to have all of the days orders in the awaiting list and only those that packers have packing slips for will be scanned. I remember you print barcodes “on demand” so I think this may be why, am I right?

Send the packing video to customer's email and pull out the video by scanning or searching order ID
I want that Groovepacker has the new features to send the video to every customer's email that how sender pack, ship, and handle the each other. If the customer order the mask pack, we take the packing video and send to customer's email when the packing is completed. Also, once we scanned or typed the order ID, we can pull out the packing video as well
13 votesWe have implemented an option to capture an image from a mobile device or web cam after scanning is complete. This can be optionally emailed to the customer or just saved with the order for reference. If users feel video would bring sufficient value that the storage would be warranted we may add a video option in the future. If you're following and would like early access please reach out to support@groovepacker.com

Report product order groupings
A Report which shows which items are ordered together most frequently, this could help with organising how products are placed/located in the warehouse

Time packers
Time each packer for performance. When packer logs in and starts packing orders for the day, time how long they have logged in, how many orders they have packed. Could work out speed based how many sku, quantity per order, order size. Get an average over time so you can review performance and ways to increase performance, eg product picking methods, warehouse locations, packing area suitability, products that take the longest to pack etc
2 votesWe currently measure the time it takes the packer to scan each item. (From the time the item is prompted to the time it is scanned.) The number of items each packer packs for the day is also recorded. Both metrics are available in the dashboard. This gives a fair picture of their performance. Clocking the “logged in” time could be helpful if the packers remembered to log out or we could force logout after 5 min or so.
