make barcodes case insensitive
making barcodes case insensitive would eliminate a lot of annoying buzzes for us. All of our custom bar codes are all caps, and occasionally the caps lock gets clicked off for whatever reason and we get buzzed even though the item is correct. It would be much smoother for us if the barcodes weren't case sensitive.

that would be ideal. the "caps lock shut off" buzzes are annoying, but I understand others may want it to be case sensitive so it might not be for everybody

We could add an option so that case sensitivity could be disabled so you could have it either way. =)
