Automatically print label after pack complete
Add an option to automatically print a label when a packer complete "scan and pack". the label could be a "QC pass" that the packer can stick to the box, or a "Order #" barcode that a packer can stick it to the box. So for anyone whose pack and ship station are separate, the shipper can simply scan the barcode to find the order and print a shipping label.
This option can now be enabled in the Scan & Pack options. Choose Order Barcode from the post scanning drop down.

I certainly see the benefit. This would allow greater flexibility since boxes could actually be sealed after packing while they wait for shipping labels to be processed.
This can be achieved in a work around sort of way. It's not likely that it would be practical for daily use but it might give you a chance to try the workflow before the feature is in place.
What you would do is create a product, call it anything you like, Order Barcode would be a good choice. Leave the product open in a second browser tab.
After an order is packed you would copy and paste the order number into the barcode field of this product and click the print icon and a 1" x 3" barcode would be created for the order number.
You can actually have GroovePacker prompt you (in a way) to copy the barcode after packing is complete. Just go to Settings > System Settings > Scan and Pack Options and enable the first option: Ask for Tracking NumberThe intended use of the Ask for Tracking Number feature is to record the tracking information from the shipping label, but if you're not using it for that purpose there's no reason it can't be used to prompt and provide an easy to copy order number.
