API access to Groove packer
with API access to groove packer we can extend the use and functionality in groovepacker by integrating it with other marketplaces, inventory managemet systems or WMS systems
Which fields would you be most interested in GETting from GroovePacker via API?
The following are being considered for POST:
Product Data_____
SKU1,2,3
Barcode1,2,3
BinLocation1,2,3
Image URL
Order Data______
Order number
Order Date

It sells itself. Consider- as of now at best you can export a file via email. This means either i need some clunky script to peal off an attachment from an email and use the csv to update my accounting/inventory software, or have somebody do them all manually, which is a huge waste of time. In addition- right now i cant customize the fields in that report and its missing critical ones like scanned tracking number.
For the inbound API, again the csv/ftp method is just clunky and asking for problems. The API would allow my orders to be imported and if necessary updated systematically (if there is a change in the order its really the only way to have confidence GP is going to receive those changes).
As for which fields, just make them all available, but tracking number should certainly be in there (its not in the current reports).

@Mark Please explain your use case for the API. Would you be pushing to, or pulling from GroovePacker? Which Fields would you need?

Any progress on this? Seems like a game changer.

I second the API access request.
We would like to make GET requests based on order ID. This would return JSON with:
order_date order_number scan_order barcode primary_sku part_sku serial_number product_name packing_user order_item_count scanned_date warehouse_name item_sale_price kit_name customer_name address1 address2 city state zip
